Allow us to introduce our amazing friend, Halo, the Kelpie. With a heart as bright as her name suggests, this four-year-old beauty embodies the spirit of love and fun in every possible way. Weighing a perfect 24kg, Halo is the ideal companion for anyone looking for an exciting and affectionate friend.
Our Halo is affection personified, the perfect fur-friend for everyone. She is a natural socialite and extends her love to children, cats, and fellow dogs. Children find an instant connection with Halo, building bonds of friendship and companionship effortlessly. Just a little caution, her love can be a little overwhelming initially as she might get excited and jump. However, she quickly learns her boundaries and calms down.
If you love active, energetic dogs, then Halo would be your perfect partner. This particular Kelpie has an adventurous streak and enjoys long walks or runs in the sunshine. A regular backyard fence would be sufficient for this well-behaved lady as she respects boundaries and loves to play within her safe space.
Halo's ideal day includes a healthy dose of playtime, followed by a quiet evening snuggling on the couch. She has all her vaccinations, microchip, and she's been desexed, ready to make her place in your heart and home.
Whether you're a bustling family full of life or someone seeking a loving and loyal companion, Halo is ready to be your special someone. She's a shining star, ready to bring a glow to your life. Bring Halo home, and let her loving personality add a little more sparkle to every day.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
