About Canon
Canon is a delicate and sweet lop bunny who is in need of a special home filled with love, patience, and understanding. Named after the renowned camera brand, Canon is part of a unique group of rabbits known as the "camera crew," each with their own distinct personality. Among her peers, Canon is the most shy, requiring a gentle touch to help her thrive.
Canon is quite timid initially and may choose to hop away when she feels scared or overwhelmed. However, with consistent and patient care, she is gradually gaining confidence. She now feels comfortable enough to eat near her caretakers and, on lucky occasions, even takes high-value treats directly from their hands. This progress showcases her potential to become a more confident and trusting companion.
Canon would flourish in a quiet, stable environment where she can feel safe and secure. An experienced rabbit owner who understands the nuances of rabbit behaviour and the importance of gentle socialisation would be ideal. Her new family should be willing to invest time and patience to help her build trust and feel at ease in her new surroundings.
Canon has shown interest in neighbouring bunnies and, being desexed, may be a great candidate for introduction to another rabbit. Canon is currently living on her own and could also move into her forever home as a solo lady.
If you believe you can offer Canon the loving and stable home she needs, please reach out to our shelter. Together, we can help Canon blossom into the confident and happy bunny she has the potential to be.
