About Rusty
Rusty is a super sweet boy who loves the quiet life.
He is in foster care as an only dog and enjoys the attention he gets from the three adults. But he is also absolutely fine to hang out on his own when everyone is at work.
We think that Rusty prefers to be an only dog and while he is not reactive on walks, he does not seem to want to interact with other dogs. Maybe he has had some bad experiences in the past?
He is easy to walk, does not pull and only freezes when in busy environments.
He loves a scratch and pat but is not a hugger. Rusty also likes to sleep alone.
Rusty is really easy going otherwise and just likes to enjoy his life without too much noise and action around him.

Adoption details
1) Please email hello@amazinggreys.com.au to receive our adoption application form. This form helps us learn more about you, your household and work commitments.
2) Once we received your application, Amazing Greys conducts an in person home check to make sure your home is secure and suitable for a greyhound.
3) Based on the home check, our adoptions team will suggest a suitable match for you*, and a meet and greet will be arranged with the foster home
4) After the meet and greet, should you decide to proceed the greyhound will be placed on a 3 week trial with you
5) At the completion of the trial period, our $400 fee will be due and the greyhound becomes an official member of your family!
Our team will keep in touch with you throughout the process and help you to settle in your new greyhound; but you will also have lifetime support, at any point post adoption our team can assist with referrals to qualified behaviourists and also providing resources and in home consultations where required.
*Where a suitable match is not available, you may be placed onto a wait list. Please note, we do not cat test and may refer applications with small animals to organisations that are able to assist with a placement
