About Frankie
Meet Frankie, an adorable 10-month-old Staffy cross with a heart of gold. This charming pup is known for her beautiful face and super cute demeanor that instantly wins over everyone she meets. Frankie is highly sociable and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. She would thrive in a home with another canine companion or in an environment where she can regularly visit friends with dogs.
Frankie is incredibly smart and highly trainable. Enrolling her in training sessions would be a great way to harness her intelligence and ensure she grows into a well-behaved adult dog.
She has a playful nature and adores her toys, which keep her entertained even when you're away at work. Just remember to switch up her toys occasionally to keep her engaged and happy.
Frankie is also cat-friendly and has lived with a cat in the past. She just needs a slow introduction to ensure a smooth transition.
She would do best in a home with kids who understand the importance of giving her space while she's eating, sleeping, or just resting. Like anyone, Frankie needs her quiet time and doesn't appreciate being disturbed during these moments.
Overall, Frankie is a delightful pup with a loving personality, ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever home.
To book a meet and greet with Frankie please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
