About Nell
Nell is a four-month-old, female Border Collie cross with a zest for life and an impressively outgoing nature. Bursting with bubbly energy, Nell wins hearts wherever she goes!
She adores human companionship and affection, and her charming spirit means she's excitable around fellow dogs. However, she would benefit from gradual, well-controlled meetings to socialize comfortably. A little skittish in the presence of our feline friends, a home without cats would be the best fit for her.
Nell carries an abundance of youthful energy, which manifests as jumping and excitement around people. Therefore, a home with more mature children who can match her energy is optimal. Her enthusiasm for people and new experiences means she could do with some basic training. Her intelligence, typical of her breed, should make her a fast learner who would likely thrive and take pleasure in a program of obedience or agility training.
She does experience a small amount of separation anxiety, but she bounces back quickly and settles down once she understands you're not leaving for good. This is also something that can be improved with training and patience, especially as she grows out of her puppy stage and develop into a confident adult canine.
Nell is a loving, excitable pup who would be an amazing addition to a family with older children who can encourage her outgoing nature. If you're looking for a faithful, affectionate companion who can bring joy, boundless energy, and fun to your life, Nell is your girl! Come and meet this gorgeous furball who is more than ready to shower her new family with love.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
