About Honey
Introducing Honey ( previously #380)
Honey is about a year old and is a medium sized mixed breed girl – she possibly is a ridgeback x.
Honey is a beautifully natured, loyal, and intelligent girl.
She has a gentle, sweet, and affectionate nature with a superpower of making people fall head over heels in love with her.
Confident yet kind, Honey loves all the usual playful puppy antics and can be a bit of an entertaining cheeky Miss at times.
She is quite independent and loves exploring the world around her, but she is also always ready to unwind with a good nap.
Whilst she loves an adventure or two, she also cherishes her downtime and is just as happy snoozing at your feet or embarking on a backyard investigation mission.
Honey loves her daily walks, and her leash manners and social skills are great.
She can be a little shy and timid around new dogs, but once she gets to know them, she enjoys their company immensely.
Honey shows no signs of separation anxiety and copes well at home alone – she is not a destructive dog.
She’s a family dog to the core - eager to shower her loved ones with cuddles and affection.
Loyalty is part of Honey's DNA.
She's protective of her family – give her some love and affection and she will return the favour tenfold.
She's the perfect balance of puppy enthusiasm, grown dog calmness, and enduring loyalty.
This affectionate, cuddly girl will be a truly magical addition to family life, ensuring plenty of love, laughter, and that all-important comfy armchair companion!
Honey is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is up to date with her flea and worm treatments.
She is located at Highgate Hill and her adoption fee is $595

At Village Tails, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
