Little Miss Roxi came into care having a rough start to life, found on the side of the road with a fractured leg, flea and tick ridden. A Good Samaritan took her to the vet and with some love, care and TLC she has progressed dramatically!! She is now fully healed and the cast has come off, so this little girl is ready to find her forever home.
Having a cast and then bandages on her leg for nearly half her life has not stopped her at all, this little girl is a bundle of energy! She loves nothing more than running around with her foster siblings, playing with them until she drops with exhaustion.
She has been going to work with her foster carer at an aged care facility and is the best little resident dog, everyone loves her and boy does she love the attention!!
She absolutely loves being outdoors, exploring all the time, she usually sits out the front and watches everyone walking past, getting plenty of pats. Roxi is exceptionally toilet trained, will cry and bang the door to be let out, and she sleeps all through the night without any accidents.
Roxi is a massive snuggle pot when it comes to bed time: she literally will lay on your face...she could not possibly get any closer!
Roxi loves company of other dogs but also loves human company as well, she trains so easily and knows the routine so well. She isn't a big fan of being crated, but her foster carers are working on this with her. As with all pups, it will be important to provide ongoing training and consistent boundaries to help her grow into the best dog she can be.
Roxi has the cutest little nature, loves to chat with you, loves her toys, loves her food!!! She is very intelligent, she learns very quickly! This little girl will suit any home where she is included as part of the family, she has so much love to give.
Roxi is $400 + $100 desex bond* to adopt and comes microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.
*Desex bond will be refunded once pup is desexed at one of our nominated vets at the appropriate age. It is a non-negotiable conditions of adoption that pups are desexed prior to 8 months of age, unless otherwise approved by NQAR. The cost of desexing is included in the adoption fee, as long as it is done at one of our nominated vets.
