About Coco
Meet Coco, a dashingly handsome 8-month-old black and tan kelpie x border collie with loads of charm as well. He loves people and just wants to be your full time side kick. He is always up for pats and cuddles!
Coco is very focused on his people for his age and eager to please. As a result, he is quick to learn and a dream to train. He is looking for someone who will continue his training and nurture his love of learning. While in foster care Coco has been discovering how much fun toys can be and can sometimes be found throwing a toy around the backyard to entertain himself.
Once the work and play is done, he loves nothing more than to snuggle up to his foster mum or dad, the closer the better! Coco has an excellent off switch and when nothing is happening he will happily settle in his bed or in his crate.
Coco walks on lead (with a flat collar or harness) without pulling, has good recall and knows sit, drop and shake. He is learning to wait at gates and doors. Coco is house and crate trained and sleeps quietly in his crate all night until someone lets him out. He travels well in the car.
Coco is currently living with a number of other dogs. While he gets along with the other dogs, he would prefer a home where he is the only dog or with one other calm older dog. Coco has met the resident cat and chickens and showed little interest in them.
If you are after a handsome, loyal and snuggly work from home buddy or travelling companion, apply now. Coco is waiting to impress you.
Coco is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
