Description:
💚This beautiful boy is looking for his forever home🤗
🐾Banjo is an 18 month old kelpie cross border collie, desexed. He is looking for a home that will allow him to be a beloved family pet, and shower him with love and affection.
🏡Banjo is excellent with kids, cats, other dogs and has excellent manners. Travels well in the car and is crate trained, he has also recovered well and has learned to use 3 legs just fine 💚
✅Three-legged dogs are also called "tripods" or "tripaws".Dogs can be very resilient, and often a three-legged dog soon forgets the missing limb altogether.
✅Short, frequent walks and swimming are excellent ways to keep your tripod dog physically fit.
✅A harness with a handle on the back can help you lift your dog in and out of vehicles or out of harm’s way.
🐥 While under the care of Willow Tree Sanctuary, our dogs are desexed (at the right age) microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested (6 months+), treated monthly for parasites and have any other necessary vet treatment required.
Note: We recommend all pups and their adopters attend puppy and obedience training to give them the opportunity to become the best versions of themselves 🙌
