About Asha
Look who's Back - Asha 🥰
Little Asha came back into care after an adoption trial as she was just too afraid of the resident toddler (don’t worry Asha – those scare us sometimes too )
She has spent a few weeks regrouping and we are now ready to look again for her perfect ( toddler free) match.
Asha is a koolie x but is on the smaller size of medium – weighing in at around 13kg.
She is about a year old.
Asha loves other dogs and has also been around cats with no issues.
A social little Miss, she had learned so much from the resident dogs and a friendly furry brother or sister would be so good for her confidence.
She is a pocket rocket in play – her favourite game being “The Stalk” – she has a true talent as a silent stalker and wrestler extraordinaire.
Described by her foster mums as a “Love Barnacle” she is such a gentle and affectionate little bean.
She adores company and would thrive in a home where someone is home more often than not.
Asha gives the most fabulous cuddles with her little head tucked in under your chin - she bonds quickly and has so much love to give
Whilst she is not a fan of lots of loud noises she is a little chatterbox herself – she has different barks and expressions for different situations.
Asha can be timid around new people but with encouragement and patience she is really finding her brave.
As expected from her breed, she is a smart pup, she has lovely manners and is great on the leash.
Asha is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and is up to date with her flea and worm treatments.
She is in foster care at Camp Hill and her adoption fee is $595
If you would like to meet Asha, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the amazing life she could share with you.

Adoption details
At Village Tails, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
