Meet Sooty!

Sooty is a lovable, affectionate dog looking for his forever home. He is a big hugger and kisser who always craves attention and loves to snuggle, especially in bed with his favorite humans. Sooty has a special place in his heart for kids and enjoys their company, though older children would be a better match as he's still learning his manners, particularly around food.

Sooty needs to be the only animal in the home at this time, due to a lack of socialisation when he was younger, Sooty is quite scared of other dogs and animals and is looking for someone that can build his confidence with slow introductions and training. He’s still learning that the world isn’t as scary as it seems and requires a patient and dedicated owner willing to help him be the best he can be. His new family should be prepared to put in the work to make him feel safe and loved.

Be mindful during meal times, as Sooty has a habit of reaching for any food within his grasp. With some guidance and training, he’ll learn better table manners.
