About June
*In foster care in Woollahra, Sydney*
June is a shy yet quirky girl with a streak of bravery and more than a touch of independence! At first, she might keep her distance - but give her some time and you'll soon discover her loving side :) Once June warms up to you, she adores cuddles and will melt your heart with her affectionate purrs.
June's favourite pastime is finding the strangest places to nap. She'll often snooze on top of plants, nestle in the soil at the bottom of a pot, or simply bask in a sunny spot in her room. Sometimes she even falls asleep on her foster carer's laptop keyboard during her lunchbreak!
When not playing with her sisters, hiding in some corner of the house or dreaming away in one of her spots, June loves a snuggle - especially when she can bunk down for hours between your legs on the couch.
Like all Maggie's pets, June is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be calm and quiet, with low stimulation levels - a place where I can continue to build my confidence and share my unique charm. If you have a peaceful environment and the patience to let me come out of my shell at my own pace, I might just be the purrfect addition to your family!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium - I rarely instigate games, but will happily follow my sister Maeve in her adventures. I do love to play with a ball and explore my surroundings! Cuddles and naptime are my favourites, though.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'd thrive in a family with older children (8+) who'll give me the time and space I need, and make sure I don't get overwhelmed. If kids are gentle and loving, we're sure to form a lasting bond :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore my feline sisters and would be very keen to live with another nice cat or two in my new home!
The one experience I've had with a dog wasn't great, but I reckon with time I could make it work with the right dog.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
