About Ora's Puppies
EEEKK!!!! If these littles ones don’t make you squeal, then we don’t know what will!!
Mumma Ora came to us from a rural mission camp heavily pregnant and arrived just in time! She gave birth her first morning in care to 5 very healthy and very gorgeous puppies. These little ones are thriving, and we are starting to take applications to ensure we find the best matches for them once they are ready to head off to their forever homes.
All of the little ones are starting to show their individual personalities. We have:
Amada (F) – Chocolate little girl with white chest
Grato (M)– Black and tan short coated boy - NOW ADOPTED
Cudo (M)– Tri coloured scruffy coated boy
Mahlori (F) – Chocolate girl with white stripe on chest
Ime (F) - Black and tan scruffy - ALREADY ADOPTED
The chocolate girls Amada and Mahlori know all about how to have fun! These two are the more confident and have a real zest for life. They are the first to run up and greet you. Both girls love to play and are more than happy to join in on the action. The boys, Grato and Cudo, are soft and sweet natured. They also love to play but are happy to watch first before jumping into the fun. Cuddles and affection are also high on their wish list.
All of the puppies are loving their food - a mixture of raw, kibble and puppy milk. These little ones are such quick learners. They are already keeping their bedding area clean and using the space away from their bed to toilet. They all enjoy people snuggles and any form love. It is very easy to give this to them as they are just so cute. This little family sleep in their crate for nap time and boy is it a blessing to watch them all happily snuggled up together. When it’s time to get up and about they love to go out and explore the yard. Each new place is an adventure for them. The pups are thoroughly enjoying meeting new people of all ages, and have been socialised with the resident dogs, both small and large. They have been exposed to loud sounds to help their development and reduce fear responses.
We are looking for homes that are ready for pocket sized fun. Mumma Ora is a small mixed breed who loves her tug toys, fetching a toy and rumbling play. As much as they love attention and a bit of cuddle time, these puppies are not going to be lap dogs and will need new owners committed to fulfilling their needs and able to keep up with their antics. The pups should be taken to training classes and given appropriate exposure and socialisation to ensure that they grow up to be well-mannered dogs – we do not want to see them become annoying little yappy dogs. The pups are suitable to live with another adult dog who is already fully trained and ready to be great role model for the new addition.
If you think you can provide one of these gorgeous little dogs a great home where they will be loved family members and included in all the fun activities, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle you can offer a pup.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions for Mahlori, Amada and Grato.
Cudo’s baby teeth are slightly mis-aligned and will require some ball therapy (simply exercises holding/chewing a ball at home each day) while he is growing. This will be further discussed with potential adopters.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
