About Chloe
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Looking for an adorable senior kitty cat to keep you company at home ? Well we have a very special little lady just for you.
Chloe was well loved by her previous owner but sadly a change in living situation made things a bit tough for her people so they made the tough decision to find her a new home. She has lived with the one person her entire life and has come from a loving household so she is filled with love and adoration for kind and loving people.
Being a senior lady she wasn't too impressed at being uprooted from her home so she was a little grumpy when she first arrived, but despite that, she has quickly settled into her new foster home and found another comfortable spot to nap, on her foster carers bed.
We also took her to the vet recently for a checkup and when she got home she gave her foster carers the cold shoulder for a day or two - "how dare you humans take me to the vet!?" - but has since returned back to normal. She is definitely a grumpy ( but loving ) little old lady.
When she's in the mood for affection Chloe will start rubbing up against your legs and purring away. She loves a good chin scratch and makes a fantastic lap warmer and hot water bottle. She enjoys sleeping on the bed next to you, curling up on the couch next to you and in time will happily jump up on your nap and snooze away while you binge your favourite TV show.
As an older lady she enjoys being around people but values her independence and and her affection is very much on her terms. She can be picked up and cuddled but only for a few minutes and will politely let you know when it's time to be put down.
Despite being a grumpy old lady ( sometimes ) Chloe is actually very sweet, very gentle, very affectionate and very loving. She adores human company and is very low maintenance as she spends 90% of her time asleep. But she will love your attention and loves her food.
She is currently on medication for a thyroid issue but we are confident that this will improve with the right food. We would recommend a diet that is high in protein, calcium and good fats and low in carbs, sugars and processed crap. Raw meat is the way to go.
She is quite curious and has come from a household with young kids but I'm sure she would appreciate a nice quiet household to live out her golden years.
Chloe would be the perfect fit for a retiree or a homebody who's searching for an affectionate companion to add some love to their home and heart.
Chloe is approximately 14 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
