Steve, a timid but social cat, requires experienced adopters with a strong understanding of cat body language. He will need a dedicated launch room for at least 4 days, possibly longer, equipped with hiding places like a cardboard box, cat tower, or igloo to help him settle in comfortably. Due to his timid nature, Steve is best suited for a calm and quiet home environment with minimal foot traffic, making him suitable for teens and adults. While open to respectful children aged 10 and above who have experience living with cats.

Steve thrives in the company of other cats and gains confidence from their presence, so potential adopters are strongly encouraged to consider adopting him alongside a social cat companion. Although Steve is unsure of hands and affection initially, he responds well to food and treats, which can be used to gradually build trust and bond with him. With patience and the right approach, Steve promises to blossom into a loving and loyal companion in a supportive forever home.
