not alone anymore!

birdie was found living in a pile of long grass, alone, hungry and scared. She had made a nest in grass and just stayed there not knowing what to do next, until a kind stranger coaxed her out of the grass and into a whole new world of love and care. We dont know what her background is, whether she fell off the back of a ute, or ran away from an abusive situation. Or whether she was lost after the floods. But what we do know is birdie is looking for a forever home with a loving and patient family to call her own. Birdie becomes very attached to her carer and can become jealous. She needs someone who understands this is not acceptable behaviour and show her firm but kind leadership. Someone who can give her the confidence and love she craves, and let her know she will never be alone again. If you have another dog, then perhaps a male of similar size would help her to fit into a new home. Birdie walks very politely on her leash. She is smart, and really focuses her attention on the person at hand. What a dream student, she is! she loves figuring out new games and tricks. She is quite lanky but loves to run and jump and go swimming. And she's extremely devoted to anyone who'll train her and reward her. . . . And just be with her.
