About Forrest
Name: Forrest
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 01/05/2022
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tabby
Location: Port Pirie
If the hit song from Moulin Rouge “Your Song” staring Ewan McGregor had morphed into a living being, this cat is it. Forrest is a loving boy who just wants to sit by your side as you go through life together. He likes to sit in windows, snuggle up for bed and chirp to tell you what’s what. He’ll soon have you singing “How wonderful life is now you’re in the world.”
Forrest has spent his days since coming into care lounging by his foster carer, sitting in the window to watch the world and being vocal about when his food bowl his empty. He is an extremely patient boy who’s best fitted for a calm indoor environment.
The purrfect home for Forrest would be one that is peaceful and gentle, filled with abundant warmth and love. He would be best suited for a household that has older children as his skin is very stretchy. He is also a social creature with everyone who he comes into contact with.
People describe me as: loving, sweet and relaxed
How am I with dogs? I love cat friendly dogs
How am I with cats? Good with cats
How am I with kids? I have very baggy skin so kids old enough to know not to be too grabby.
My purrfect home is: Calm yet full of love and fun with a window to view the world.
MEDICAL NOTE:
Forrest is FIV+ and must be a strictly indoor cat to ensure his health and well-being. He came into care with severe injuries to his face and eyelids. While he has fully healed, these injuries have left his eyelids deformed but it does not affect his vision. Forrest's treating veterinarian has cleared him for adoption and he is ready to find his forever home.
Forrest's adoption fee is $75 which includes desexing, microchipping, parasite prevention, and initial F3 vaccination.
