About Sandor - 3 Month Old Border Collie X Bull Arab
Meet Sandor, a 3 month old male border collie cross Bull Arab who is eagerly waiting for a loving home.
Sandor is a curious and playful puppy who loves to embark on adventures. He is smart, eager to learn new things, and shows progress in house and toilet training. Sandor has started walking with a lead, learning basic commands, and is picking up well. He can use a dog door and sleeps well through the night in a crate.
Sandor will thrive as a working dog breed with daily exercises and ongoing training. Sandor loves walking to the beach and playing with his sister and a resident dog. As a young pup, he would benefit from having someone home often. He currently lives with his sister, Yuki, and a resident dog. Sandor would love to have another dog companion in his new home. With the proper training and care, he has all the potential to become a wonderful family dog.
If you have the time and commitment to provide Sandor with the love and training he needs, he could be the perfect addition to your family.
Sandor is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Sandor will grow up to be a medium/large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Sandor. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Sandor needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Sandor's sibling Yuki is also available for adoption.
Sandor's adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Sandor is in foster care in Lemon Tree Passage, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
