Little Pengu is one of the most adorable cats you'll ever meet. She absolutely loves human company and her quirky personality and chirpy voice will keep you amused for hours.

She likes to roll around in front of you and look adorable so that you cannot help but want to reach out and give her a pat. She got her name from the way that she sits upright, making her look like an emperor penguin.

This beautiful little lady is very sweet, very gentle, very affectionate and just loves people. She has a gentlest and kind nature and does not have a mean bone in her body.

Penguin can be picked up and smooched, loves to sit on your lap when your on the couch, will sleep on your bed with you if you'll let her and just generally absolutely loves a cuddle.

She loves to hang out high so if you have a cabinet or bookcase that she can perch on that would be ideal. As you walk past she will let out an adorable little chirp to get your attention and then roll around looking cute so that you can't resist stopping what you're doing to give her a pat. But the second you sit down at your desk she will quickly be there ready for a cuddle.

When she's really happy she will also poke her tongue out. It's far too cute.

Pengu is also great with other cats so most evenings we'll find her running around doing zoomies or wrestling with the other cats. She was also a young mum before coming to us and has held onto those motherly instincts so if you have a younger cat she will quickly assume the role of mother and start grooming them regularly 😊

Pengu has a beautiful gentle nature, is quite curious, is great with young kids and has a very chilled out personality that makes her perfect for almost any situation. As long as there's someone around to give her plenty of cuddles.

Penguin is approximately 14 months old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
