About Leo
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Loving, sassy and independent but gorgeous is how I would describe Leo. This gorgeous little lady can be very sweet, very gentle and very affectionate but is also full of personality and spunk.
Leo was well loved by her previous owner but sadly they had to move overseas for an extended period of time due to work and made the tough decision to find her a new home. She has come from a loving household and is filled to the brim with unconditional love.
She can be a bit shy when first arriving in a new place, like most of us, but once she's had a chance to settle in her beautiful personality will shine through and you'll find yourself with a smoochy companion. Very quickly she will start rubbing up against you legs and marking you as her own :)
She can also be a bit grumpy and bitey in a new environment so we'd love to find someone who's experienced with cats and patient enough to appreciate her initial grumpiness let her settle into her new home.
Having arrived not long ago she is still getting used to life in her new foster home but is making progress every day. Her foster family are loving her presence and she is definitely appreciating all their attention.
As an older lady she enjoys being around people but values her independence and and her affection is very much on her terms. She will come up to you and rub against your legs when she's in the mood for a pat but will swat you away when she's had enough of your attention.
Once she gets past her initial shyness she quickly becomes very confident and curious and won't waste any time exploring her new home.
Check out a couple cute videos of Leo on her profile or on our social media.

Leo would be the perfect fit for someone who's looking for a low maintenance and loving companion, and who wants to add an abundance of unconditional love to their household. She gets on well with young kids but being an older lady I'm sure she'd appreciate a nice quiet home with a retiree or homebody who's lap she can keep warm.
Leo is approximately 9 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.
Located in Glen Waverley with our amazing foster carers.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
