Penny

Meet Penny, our sweet and unique Bitzer—a delightful mix of breeds, though we suspect she may have some Miniature Pinscher, Fox Terrier, or Kelpie in her. Penny is a 2-year-old female, small to medium in size, with a personality that's as endearing as it is timid.

Penny is a gentle soul who prefers the company of calm, co-existing dogs. She’s not a fan of overly enthusiastic canine companions and isn’t shy about letting them know. Ideally, she would thrive in a home with another dog who respects her space and matches her laid-back demeanor.

With a very timid and sweet personality, Penny requires an owner who will give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe and secure. She dreams of being a lap dog, snug and safe in her owner’s arms. Secure fencing is a must for Penny, as she has a knack for finding little gaps to slip through at the shelter, likely due to the stress of the environment. However, we believe this escapism will diminish once she settles into a loving home.

While Penny may develop some separation anxiety after bonding with her person, her loyal and affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion for someone willing to provide her with the security and love she needs.
