Diesel - 6 Year Old French Bulldog (Trail)

Hi 👋🏻

My name is Diesel a 6.5 year old French Bulldog.

Don’t let my age fool you, I’m a smart old gentleman! I’m well-behaved and I’m house, crate, and toilet trained. I can also show you the tricks I’ve learned! I can sit nicely, I can give you my paw, although I get confused sometimes and give you both paws because I’m not sure which one you want. I can also lie down!

I love people so much that I get so excited and want to give you a big kiss when you're home. I am suited to apartment living as long as you provide me with some grass so I have a dedicated area to use the toilet and if work from home are committed to taking me out a few times a day to stretch my legs and have a sniff. Otherwise, a doggy door to the yard will do fine. I would love if my new owner works from home or works part time.

I am a gentle, beautiful soul, but I can get anxious around other dogs. My foster mom is working on socializing me all over Newcastle. We drive long distances sometimes, and I love being a passenger prince! I would really appreciate it if you could have some patience and continue my socialization training with me. Because of my fear, it's best if I stay with families without children under 13.

I'm very curious about the world around me. I love watching it go by from the balcony and smelling everything during my walks.

I love it when people say hello to me! My foster mom takes me on quiet walks around the area for about 30 minutes each time. I walk in the morning when I wake up, after my dinner at 4:30 PM, and before bed I go on the biggest walk of the day (45 minutes) so I’m super tired.

Im a very deep sleeper who sleeps through the night in my fosters mums living room but in my crate with plenty of blankets to keep me warm. I wake up whenever you do! My day starts when your day starts, but I love my morning cuddles to say sorry for my cute little snores during the night.

Although I sleep a lot during the whole day, I do get zoomies and love playing with my toys. I zoom so fast around the house and I bark to tell you I want to play with you.

My favourite time of the day apart from cuddles is Dinner! I eat a mixture of dry food and my favourites (tuna&sardines). I’m a Frenchie, so I’m prone to getting a dry nose, and gunk between my skin flaps on my face. My foster mum puts coconut oil on my nose and cleans between the folds in the morning. I also get yeast infection’s sometimes, so to prevent that I have regular medicated shampoo baths and always have two pumps of Omega 3 oils and a scoop of probiotics mixed with dinner!

Diesel's adoption fee is $600. He has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped. He is in foster care in Warners Bay, NSW.
