About Budd
Meet Budd, a charming 7-month-old chocolate brindle pup with a goofy and fun-loving personality that never fails to bring a smile or a laugh.
Budd adores other dogs and would love a furry friend to chase around and play with. His playful energy and bouncy demeanor make him a hit with kids who enjoy big, lively pups.
Budd is well-behaved indoors, though his young age means he's still learning the ropes. Ongoing training is essential for this enthusiastic young dog to reach his full potential.
Budd dreams of a forever home with a family who will cherish him and take him on adventures. With a heart full of love and a spirit for exploring, Budd is ready to be the perfect companion for a family ready to embrace his zest for life.
To book a meet and greet with Budd please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
