Diesel

Meet Diesel, a loving and utterly charming boy who is eager to bring joy and affection into your life. With his tail always wagging, Diesel’s happiness is infectious, spreading warmth and love through his surroundings. Diesel is approximately 1 year old and can't wait to find his forever family.

Diesel's personality:
Diesel is approximately 1 year old and is believed to be a Wolfhound X Boxer - but your guess is as good as ours! Diesel's absolute favorite place to be is frolicking in the exercise yard. He loves to run and play, and his vibrant energy is a joy to watch. Not one to play with toys at this stage (maybe he has never learnt how), he prefers a good sniff and zoomies, followed closely by some big snuggles. Diesel has a cheeky and goofy side to his personality that will warm your heart, and maybe even bring a tear to your eye.
His outdoor enthusiasm matches his indoor tranquility. At your side, Diesel turns into a gentle, snuggle-bug, enjoying nothing more than cuddling beside his beloved humans. His gentle and calm demeanor makes him a perfect fit in any environment.

Whether he’s bounding across open spaces or nestled by your side in the evening, Diesel is devoted to his humans in every way. His loving and charismatic personality is sure to win over anyone who meets him.

Diesel's ideal forever home:
Diesel will suit just about any home as far as we know! The minimal information we have about his past suggests that he may have previously lived on a farm, but he has not yet been tested by us in an environment like this, or around pocket pets or cats. He seems to enjoy the company of other doggies, but isn't a fan of young pups who haven't learnt their boundaries yet!
Diesel would love a home where he can be taken on adventurous walks to search for new smells and new experiences. He is not a large doggy, so with some ongoing training, we believe he would suit a home with children that he can share his gentle nature with. Diesel is very intelligent and always aims to please, so he will happily continue his training that he practices here at Sweet Pea - especially if there is an opportunity for extra treaties!
Above all else, he needs a loving family who will include him in their life as they would with any other family member.

Diesel's story:
Diesel came in to our care directly from the MidCoast Council pound. He had been cared for their well past his impound date and we were lucky enough to have the capacity to rescue him, alongside another young doggy, Polly. Despite the council rangers being successful in contacting his registered owners to inform them he was in the pound, it seems that they gave up on him and left him there for an unknown fate.
Thankfully, he is now safely a part of the Sweet Pea family and we cannot wait to start the search for his perfect, forever family!
