What is sweeter than a sundae with a cherry on top? Pudding Nick is!

This young man has had a rough start to life - at only 12 months old he has already been discarded by his previous family and left alone - but let's change that!

Our little sweetheart is lacking confidence with most things and is going to need a caring family that is ready to let his true personality shine. We won't lie - Pudding is going to need some work - he hasn't had the foundation skills that most dogs have had. He is avoidant of new people to start with - but once he realizes they mean no harm you will be showered with kisses and affection from him.

Pudding Nick lacks basic skills so we encourage lots of force-free positive training to help him get up to speed - just remember he is still just a baby so will pick things up quickly. He takes treats super gently and gets very excited when he sees his walking harness. Sometimes Pudding does not understand that his size is "Baby Horse" and not "Lap Cat" - so a home where someone will work on keeping him calm in times of heightened excitedness would be greatly valued.

Since being at the Lost Dogs Home, Pudding has evolved from a shy boy to an excited lad with the staff that he knows. He actively seeks out interaction with people and adores being lavished with attention. He is a beautifully natured dog despite what she has been through - but sometimes struggles to show it.

Pudding has showed some positive interactions with other dogs - but we recommend that he gets all of your attention to himself and loves with no other doggo or cat friends. He might like to say hello to dogs out on walks, but at home he wants your undivided attention.

This is not the same for children. Little children can be intimidating for dogs like Pudding so we highly recommend that all people in the household be older than 16 and have the ability to give Pudding his space when he needs it.
