About Normie
Little Norman came to us from a pound. He was in a dreadful state.
Matted, open wounds on his bottom and base of tail. Extreme case of Kennel Cough.
He has healed from his wounds and kennel cough, which has been great for him, so we can see his little personality.
We don’t know Normie previous story, but we know he has some trauma in his past. Whoever had Normie obviously didn’t look after his physical and emotional needs.
He is a sweet little lap dog, and loves his cuddles and walks. He bonds very quickly to his person.
Normie is sharing his foster home with three other small dogs. Two of the furkids he is fine with, he does have a issue with one. So moving forward with his forever home, we need to make sure if their is another dog, that they like each other.
Normie won’t be going to the first home that applies.
Our process is all for the dog.
Finding the right fit for him.
Someone that understands that he is a work in progress.
He hasn’t been tested with cats.
And he will not be going to a home with children.
Due to Normies trauma we will be discussing all applications with our carer and team.
Norman’s is on the Gold Coast

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
