Yonudu

Mr Yondu is a bundle of joy, he is playful, excitable affection , loving and funny…yes I said funny!
As a typical Labby youngster Yondu is true to his breed and will have you watching your shoes. Underwear and books if you leave them lying around when he is in the home ,,, lol Yup he is a Labby when it comes to stealing and chewing when you are not watching lololol
He adores other dogs and playing and a good game of chase and “bitey face” with his foster sister is his ultimate day of fun
Yondu likes to have a good chomp on chew toys, bully sticks, sticks well basically anything that feels good in his mouth. Yondu enjoys going on long walks and can spend hours at a dog park.
After a long day he loves nothing more than to cuddle up next to you on the couch.
He is an extremely smoochy boy so be prepared for lots of cuddles, he loves to be the little spoon.
This young man is very friendly. He enjoys the company of all humans, he is great with kids.
He loves to play with anyone that is happy to spend time with him.

He walks well on leash, he prefers a harness to walk with instead of a collar. He does require more training as he does pull a little. He listens to the basic commands but as Labs go can easily distracted but he is eager to please too
Yondu is housetrained and will go outside to do his business.
He travels well in a car and likes to stick his head out the window, but he does move around a lot.
Yondu is currently living with a female dog and they play very well together.
They can play a little rough together but in a good doggy way.
He does get a bit jealous of his sister and will push his was in for a cuddle if she is getting all the attention
Yondu has a great appetite; he eats twice a day for breakfast and dinner. He also has some puppy treats during the day.
Yondu is ok to stay alone during the day but as a Lab teen if he gets too bored he will make his own entertainment
Yondu will stand still as you give him a bath.
Yondu is currently sleeping in between his doggy bed in the living room and in the bedroom.
He sleeps through the night, with no worries. (he currently has access to a doggy door through the night)
He goes to the dog park on the weekends and has a good run and plays for a couple of hours.

Yondu would benefit from a household that has some home more often than not or a home that has another friendly playful dog to keep him company. He is great with other dogs.
A medium to large size yard. He loves kids but would not recommend younger than 5yrs old as is still a pup and can get a little over excited and jump.
Most importantly his ideal home would be a home that has time to spend with him and keep him active. He is a very loving boy and always has a smile on his face, he is always happy to see you. He deserves a very loving home.

IDEAL HOME/ Adoption Criteria
Good size yard with shade . shelter and secure fencing
A home with another dog would be great as he adores the company of others but we would be seeking a dog who loves to play and of similar of larger size
A home with children is fine but we would prefer they are dog savvy o
A home that will keep him r well stimulated and exercised his entire life
A home that has the time and dedication to continue his training and ensure he has things to do when his family are not home
