About Inky - Located in Preston
Greetings, dear reader. My name is Inky, an inquisitive and spirited soul navigating the grand stage of life. Picture this: a world ripe with mystery, each corner a potential revelation, each shadow a beckoning call. I traverse these realms with the grace of an acrobat, engaging in a dance of exploration and parkour, my every leap and bound a testament to the joy of discovery.
Toys become the actors in my improvisational theater, and the game of hide and seek unfolds like a dramatic play, each act filled with suspense and delight. I will thrill you when we play fetch and I look forward to you teaching me high 5's. Wrestling matches with my siblings are epic tales of camaraderie and rivalry.
Yet, when the curtain falls on these adventures, a softer scene emerges. I find solace in the embrace of a warm lap, the gentle rise and fall of breath - a soothing purring lullaby.
I dream of a home with a cozy perch, a vantage point from which to observe the ever-unfolding drama of the world beyond. A friend, perhaps, to share in these escapades, someone who can match my fervor and zest for life. In such a setting, I shall thrive, my adventurous spirit unbridled, my affectionate heart fulfilled.
So, if you seek a companion who brings a touch of the extraordinary to the everyday, a playful, adventurous, and loving presence, look no further. I am Inky, ready to embark on this journey with you, to script new stories and share in the beautiful narrative of life.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
