About Eclipse - Located in Preston
The name’s Eclipse. I’m the kind of cat who brings a spark to the ordinary, a feisty fellow with a penchant for the thrill of the chase. You’ll find me with a glint in my eye, stalking my domain with the swagger of a seasoned hunter. Mice toys beware, for my prowess is unmatched. I relish in the art of the hunt, each pounce and capture a testament to my agility and wit.
When the quarry is all but vanquished, I turn my sights on more dynamic prey—my siblings, and yes, even my humans. There’s a certain thrill in the sneak, the careful stalk, and the ultimate surprise of a well-timed pounce. It’s all in good fun, of course, a game that keeps the blood pumping and the spirit lively.
But even a warrior needs his rest. You’ll find me, then, basking in the golden warmth of a sunbeam, the light recharging my batteries, preparing me for the next grand adventure. And when the sun sets and the shadows lengthen, there’s no place I’d rather be than curled up on the lap of my chosen people, the gentle rhythm of their breath a comforting backdrop to my dreams.
I’m a cat full of spunk, always ready for the next challenge, but also content in the simple pleasures of life. I could share my adventures with a sibling, or I could be the sole companion, the one and only in your life. Either way, with me, you’re in for a ride. This is Eclipse, signing off, ready to bring a touch of excitement and a whole lot of love into your home.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
