About Ziggy
Meet Ziggy, the one-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix who's ready to bring endless joy and energy into your life!
This handsome boy is house-trained and dreams of spending quality time indoors with his family. Ziggy's zest for life is contagious, and he loves to play, making him the perfect companion for fun-filled adventures.
Ziggy is a friendly pup who gets along well with other dogs, and his bouncy, playful nature makes him a hit with kids who are used to bigger dogs. He's looking for a home with secure fencing to keep him safe during his playful escapades.
Though he's still in need of some training, Ziggy is highly trainable and eager to learn. With a little guidance and love, he'll be the perfect addition to your family. If you're ready for a loyal, fun-loving, and energetic companion, Ziggy is your boy! Get ready for a lifetime of tail wags, fetch games, and unforgettable memories with this awesome pup.
To book a meet and greet with Ziggy please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
