About Fuji - Located in Endeavour Hills
In a quaint abode, upon a rustic hearth, there resides a creature of boundless spirit and endearing charm. I am Fuji, a feline of sweet and delectable disposition, known to my kin as the swift and agile chaser of dreams and shadows. My days are spent in playful revelry, engaging in spirited bouts of wrestling with my sisters, for it is at the bewitching hour of 4 PM that the house transforms into our grand arena.
Oh, how I relish the chase! Whether it be the tantalizing flutter of a wand toy or the ephemeral dance of dust motes in the sunlit air, I am there, with bells on, quite literally, for even the faintest jingle stirs my heart to pursuit. My agility and grace are matched only by my voracious appetite, for at the mere sound of a tin being opened, I am at your feet, weaving an intricate tapestry of affection and anticipation.
Dinner is a symphony, each clink and clatter a prelude to the feast, where I, Fuji, become the maestro of mealtime joy. Yet, beyond the thrill of the hunt and the satisfaction of a well-earned meal, I find solace in the tender embrace of a warm lap and the gentle rhythm of long, leisurely snuggles.
In my heart, I yearn for a home where love is plentiful and the hearth ever warm. Perhaps one of my dear sisters shall accompany me, for the bond of our kin is strong and steadfast. Or a friendly loving pooch. Yet, should I venture alone, know that my spirit remains undaunted, for I am Fuji, sweet and delicious, ever ready to weave my tale of love and play in the tapestry of your life.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
