About Indy
Introducing #384 – Indy
Beautiful Little Indy – Our Pint-Sized Princess is ready to find her forever family.
All the smarts and personality of a border collie – beautifully presented in a little 12.8kg package.
Indy is about 7 months old and still has some growing to do, but she is a dainty little Miss so we would guess she will remain the smaller end of medium.
Indy was very shy when she first came into rescue and can still be a little worried when meeting new people or heading to new places, but we promise with just a little patience you will be suitably rewarded.
This baby girl is a total love bug and just adores life.
She is an energetic pup who loves her toys, especially soft ones, and squeaky ones.
Disclaimer - she is also a bit of a pillow predator and loves to cause a bit of a snowstorm with those given an opportunity.
She is currently in care with 2 older dogs who she is respectful of.
She loves to play with them, but they are a little on the mature side and tire quicker than she does – a younger dog to match her energy would be great for her (as would older children)
Like all youngsters she loves to play but then crashes big time – at the end of the day she takes herself quietly off to bed.
She also loves a bit of TV Time and is a big fan of reality TV on the sofa 😊
Indy is well past the mouthy puppy stage but she is still a bit jumpy when excited so teeny tiny tots may not be ideal for her.
Super smart, this little one is crate trained crate trained during the night and sleeps like a baby.
She is house trained and happily uses a doggy door.
She will sit for her dinner and I learning her manners there – she is using a slow feeder as she is still a little frantic at dinner time after being neglected and hungry.
Indy has good recall and will do anything for food, so training is a breeze - she has not found anything that she DOESNT like to eat yet (did we mention pillows ?).
She is slowly getting used to a lead and harness.
Indy is not cat tested.
Indy has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ Vaccinated
~ Microchipped
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea / Tick Treated
She is in foster care at Minyama on the Sunshine Coast and her adoption fee is $595
If you would like to meet Indy, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the wonderful life she could share with you.
