About Koda
Meet Koda, a delightful 9-month-old Maltese x Pomeranian mix. This happy little guy may be a bit timid at first, but once he feels comfortable, his playful and affectionate nature shines through. Koda's adaptability makes it hard to believe he was ever shy!
Koda is highly trainable and would thrive in a puppy school environment where he can socialize with other people and dogs. He's eager to learn and could benefit from mastering some basic commands.
Koda gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be perfectly content sharing his home with a canine companion. His playful energy and friendly demeanor make him a joy to be around. Koda is also cat-friendly, although he would need a slow introduction to any new feline friends in the household.
With his sweet personality and eagerness to learn, Koda is sure to bring joy and love to his forever home.
To book a meet and greet with Koda please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
