About Lewie
Lewie is full of life! What he lacks in size, he more than makes up for in character. Happy and affectionate, with a bright personality and a positive attitude, he loves nothing more than being around his people. Lewie is full of confidence, and likes to be the centre of attention! But he also loves cuddles and is full of affection.
He would make a perfect companion for an elderly person, but would be equally suited to family with children of any age. He likes to go on walks, but is also happy lazing in a sunny spot or sitting on a warm lap, so he would suit living in either an apartment or a house with a small garden. At under 7kg he is quite small, so would require secure, though not necessarily high fences. His coat is non-shedding, so he would possibly suit a person with allergies or who just like to keep the house hair-free.
Lewie gets along well with other dogs, big or small, but he does assert his personality and likes to be the leader of the pack. He is untested with cats or other animals. He is house trained, comes when called by name, and understands basic commands like sit and stay. He sits calmly during car rides, and enjoys looking out the window. He walks reasonably well on a lead, though he gets excited and tends to pull, which could be corrected with more training as he learns well and picks things up quickly. He does let out the occasional bark, but is generally very quiet.
Whilst Lewie is mature boy, he likes to play and has a funny and mischievous personality. He has so much to give, and will make a wonderful companion for his new owner.
