Hi!👋 I'm Dotti! I'm a 10-month-old female Australian Cattle Dog x Bull Arab. I'm a super busy, gangly girl who tries to keep up with her legs as well as a happy girl who loves affection.
I'm searching for an active home with space for me to run. I would love another dog for company but it is not a deal breaker as I am just fine on my own. I would ideally like a rural property so I can put my natural talents to use. I can sit on a quad bike like a champion, can herd and with instruction may end up being an excellent helper. Most of all, I love to be busy and I love to run.
If not a property, then a suburban or country home that will ensure I have the opportunity to socialise with other dogs daily to help me grow up to be a good canine citizen. I'm good with kids, but would be best around around older kids who can keep me entertained and who I can't bowl over with all of my enthusiasm.
I am crate trained and am learning my basic house manners. I'm food motivated and as I'm a very clever girl, you'll have loads of fun teaching me new tricks. I'd be an awesome sports dog for someone. I can do agility and parkour with one paw tied behind my back - I am that good!! I love a car ride, a bush walk and can be off lead as my recall is very good.
Like any cattle dog, I'm happiest when I'm helping and when I'm around my people. With good house fencing, I can be left alone and left with my puzzle toys, a hoof or bone to chew on. Very happy with that. I have not yet been tested with cats or chooks.
I have not been tested with cats, so it would be best if you were trained on introductions if you have one, or you just don't have cats. Cows, sheep and horses do not bother me at all.
My new family will need to include me in their everyday lives, this will ensure I remain a happy girl. Providing the ongoing exercise, training, socialisation and the mental stimulation that a working breed dog needs will be the ongoing bonding that brings us all together.
If feel that your home is the right one for us to live a happy life with each other, foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love and licks
Dotti xx ❤🐾
