Dennis!

This handsome, young guy has had a rough start to life & is ready to turn things around & find a new home where he will be an important & well-loved member of the family.

He is an absolutely cracking dog; smart, energetic, great looking, highly trainable, fun-loving, playful & affectionate.

He has received some harsh handling from people in the past & sometimes he can be unsure how to behave. He can be a bit jumpy which is partly excitement but also can indicate anxiety & a need for reassurance. We suggest older kids (teens) to be more suitable than little people while he learns about keeping 4 paws on the floor.

Dennis would be suited to an active guardian who will ensure that he gets regular daily exercise as well as lots of mental & physical enrichment & stimulation to keep his body & mind healthy.

Dennis has met several other doggos at the shelter & has enjoyed their company. If you have a dog in your life, then a meet & greet would be essential but a suitable companion would most likely be a sociable female.

Dennis settles well in his pen but also really enjoys hanging out with staff in the office & just being involved with day-to-day activities. He truly is an awesome companion just needing that opportunity to shine :)
