Hello, potential adopters! My name is Alfie, and I'm a sweet terrier looking for a patient and loving home where I can feel safe and secure.

I'm a shy and nervous boy who takes some time to warm up to new people and environments. Once I trust you, though, I am incredibly loyal and affectionate. I enjoy gentle pats and cuddles and will shower you with love once I feel comfortable.

Life has been a bit overwhelming for me, and I'm looking for a calm and understanding humans who can help me build my confidence. Despite my initial shyness, I have a kind heart and a deep desire to bond with a caring family.

I would thrive in a quiet and patient household where I can feel safe. A predictable routine and gentle encouragement will help me blossom into the loving companion I know I can be. It is best all members in my home are aged 12 years and older, as I would prefer a home without young children. I may be okay sharing a home with another doggo similar in size, pending a meet & greet at the shelter first :)
