Hi my name is Opal đ
I'm a 10-month-old dark rust and black coloured petite kelpie x stumpy tail cattle dog. đ I'm just a little shy but once I get to know you, it will be licks and loves till bedtime.
I'm an inquisitive petite girl looking for a family who will include me in their every day life. If there is another dog, that's great but if they are not gentle and subdued, it will not work out for me to stay. Really, I see myself as a companion to someone who spends some time at home and wants me to be their company.
There are several family set ups that I would like to be a part of:
*Family with older children who take me for walks, need help with their homework and a snuggler friend to get through the nights that can get dark with silly thoughts.
*An older person or couple who wants a non demanding companion but is still physically active so I can get all of my exercise and mental stimulation - love a big sniff about the park.
*A young active couple who are just starting out on their journey and want to get dog to complete their circle before all the kids come along.
*A traveller who wants an "on the road" companion for camping and exploring. This would suit me to a tee as I'm super loyal so will stay close when we are out exploring.
I have all of the basic house manners and commands sorted but am open to learning new things, after all I am a working breed mix. I come running when called but I will probably spend most of my time right next to you. I've been learning my walking on leash manners and am doing very well but do get startled by loud noises and loud dogs. I love off lead running and exploring so I'm all good for beach and bush walks.
I am scared of cats, totally love being out in the garden and exploring the backyard and once I get up the courage, have even been playing with the ball. I am house trained, eat my food very nicely, love a car ride, a cafe pup cup and have even been to a local footy game with some kids. I found it a bit rowdy but managed to keep myself amused with some toys.
I'm looking for a family that will involve me in their everyday lives. A family that can do their best to guarantee I remain a happy girl by ensuring I get the ongoing exercise, training and the mental stimulation I need.
If this sounds like you, foster mum would love to hear from you.
Hugs and fun coming your way,
Opal xoxo â€đŸ
