About Lukey
Introducing Lukey
Gosh this little treasure crept into the Village almost unnoticed.
His pound notes simply said - #407 - M ACD blue cross approx. 8 months. Shy fellow and quite small. Gentle nature but takes a while to warm to you but once he does, he's really lovely. Found on road and taken to vets
All of the above is true apart from the slow to warm up part – from the second he stepped off transport he has been just the sweetest little man.
Lukey is everything you expect a young blue heeler pup to be - happy, playful and excited with so much love to give.
He adores his people and he only thing he loves more than playing fetch, is belly scratches.
Lots of fun to be had here as he loves to play, but he also loves to curl up and relax for a nap in the sun or on his bed (making a great home-office dog for those wanting some company).
True to his working dog roots he is a fast learner who already knows basic commands and with a little time and attention will pick up so many more.
Lukey has a beautiful temperament and lovely manners – even around food and will sit and wait for his dinner to be served.
He is currently in care with a dog, two cats, and two small children and has had no issues at all.
Being young he can be quite excitable and boisterous at first so we would recommend housing with slightly older kids or just ensure he is supervised with younger kids as he still tries to jump up at times.
This baby boy may have been a quiet arrival who caused little fanfare but my word he is going to be the best new family member for the lucky person he chooses for his forever.
Lukey is located at Cleveland and is vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with his flea and worm treatments.
He is being desexed next week and his adoption fee is $595.
If you would like to meet Lukey, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the amazing life he could share with you.
