Meet Callie: The Loyal Shadow You've Been Looking For!

Callie has been in our care for over six months, and we're scratching our heads wondering why she’s still here. She’s a sweetheart with so much love to give, but it seems she’s been overlooked. Could it be because she needs a bit of patience to settle in? Or maybe she’s waiting for just the right person to come along—a calm, loving home where she can truly shine.

Callie is the perfect companion for someone who spends time at home, especially in a quiet household. She adores following her chosen human everywhere, greeting them at the door, and keeping them company. If you already have a cat, Callie would likely enjoy having a feline friend for companionship.

While Callie has warmed up to her foster dad (she tolerates him—on her terms!), she’s definitely a lady’s cat and prefers the company of a quiet, gentle soul. Strangers can be a bit overwhelming for her, so she’ll need a patient, understanding adopter who can help her transition at her own pace.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Are you able to commit to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable home for the cat?

2. Do you have the financial resources to provide for the cat's basic needs such as food, litter, toys, and veterinary care?

3. Are you able to commit to spending time to socialize and train the cat?

4. Are you prepared to keep the cat indoors at all times? An INSIDE cat is a SAFE cat 

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
