About Lottie
Introducing Little Lottie Lotus (previously #365)
Lottie is approx. 7 months old and is a short haired Collie x.
The pound had her listed as a lab mix – but we don’t see that at all – she is very petite (greedy yes lol – but petite)
Carer sees a hint of Beagle maybe.
Arriving as a very timid and skinny little girl, she is now a much healthier 14kgs and a bundle of joy and energy.
Lottie is currently a little anxious in meeting new doggy friends, but it only takes a short time to realise they are not a threat, and she will be their bestie.
She happily shares beds, spoons of yoghurt and toys with her 2 resident siblings, a female older lab, and a male older kelpie.
The collie in Little Miss is starting to show with her and her kelpie brother having staring statue competitions in the yard followed by chasey.
Lottie loves to pounce and run around and seriously chew her toys quite happily all by herself.
She sleeps in her crate quite well already and has never peed the bed
She sometimes barks in play and when excited, but otherwise is a generally a quiet pup.
2 old dog savvy cats live in the same house, and she has not barked at them, is interested in sniffing them, but will happily run past them as well.
Over time we think she would be fine to live with a kitty.
She also lives with a tiny old lady poodle and has learned to be careful around her in a short period of time.
She would really love a doggy friend or be quite happy with human friends who will give her lots of playtime and adventures.
Training will be easy with Lottie as she loves loves food!!
She needs a slow feeder at present but does get fed and eats fine around her dog friends.
She sits for treats and is rather good with patience in that regard,
but she will try her luck with a quick check of what might be up there on that bench.
Lottie is very affectionate and will roll over for belly scratches on a dime.
She likes to be on the couch with you, but is happy to sit beside you, not on you.
She walks pretty well on a lead too and stops when you do.
Lottie would greatly appreciate more training to be her best self and keep her clever collie brain occupied.
She travels really well and quiet in the car too.
Lottie has had all her vet work done (desexed, vaxxed and chipped) and is current with flea/tick/worm prevention.
Her adoption fee is $595 and she is eagerly waiting to meet you at Arana Hills to get her new life started!
If you would like to meet this beautiful little girl, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the amazing life she could share with you.
