About George
Meet our adorable furry friend, George. He's a playful, inquisitive, and super affectionate kitten. His coat is a beautiful ginger hue, elegantly adorned with intricate stripes, giving him an unmistakable charm. George has a charming personality — he's as smoochy as they come, always ready for a cosy cuddle and a purr-filled pat.
George loves to chase fun toys, play hide and seek with his fellow feline friends, and explore his surroundings with an inquisitive nature.
Following his humans around the house is his favourite thing to do. He enjoys keeping them company, whether they're doing chores, taking a break, or catching up on their favourite TV shows. The living room and bedroom are his favourite spots to hang out, as they typically echo with love, warmth, and familiar sounds.
George enjoys tranquillity and also appreciates an occasional, peaceful nap on a cosy lap. With his humanly presence nearby, George likes to fall asleep, giving you an opportunity to watch this adorable kitten dream.
George is amazingly sociable with other pets. He treasures the time he spends playing and sleeping with his siblings, and he's looking for a home where he can experience the same level of companionship and comfort. His initial shyness tends to fade quickly once he feels safe and confident in his surroundings.
As George has warmed up at his foster home, he's becoming more confident and incredibly affectionate, earning the nickname 'Smoochy George.' He would be an excellent fit for any family that can shower him with the love and attention he desires.
If you're looking for a companion with boundless love and playful energy, George is the perfect choice.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
