About West
*In foster care in Alexandria, Sydney*
West and his siblings were rescued from a mechanic's shop where they had been living with their mum. As a result of chemicals lying around, he had to work really hard on regrowing his fur on his tail tip. Lucky he’s super fluffy now!
West is that boy who grew up with only sisters - he’s a gentle soul and a gentleman who always lets his sisters eat first. He’s extremely social and he'd LOVE a purrmanent playmate and snuggle buddy! His carers often find him cuddled up with his sisters or the resident cats in his foster home :)
West is extremely playful and loves all cat toys. He's been caught in the act of tipping over the toy box and then zooming around with glee! He also enjoys exploring the house, following his sisters around and pouncing on them when they least expect it.
He's been very welcoming to his kitten pals, and often starts the zoomies or playfully wrestles with them. He is growing his confidence every day around the resident cats and dog.
This gorgeous fellow also extremely affectionate, climbing onto your lap for a smooch and starting to purr loudly whenever you enter the room. When you snuggle him in bed, his purrs reverberate through your body as he asks for butt scritches!
Like all Maggie's pets, West is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I love kitty cuddles, so it would be great if you already have a friendly feline for me to bond with!
I’m also growing confident with the resident dog in my foster home, so if you have a nice dog who'll respect my space when I need it - that’d work too. If I’m to be a solo cat, I’d like it if you were home more often than not - maybe we could work from home together!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I definitely get the kitten zoomies a few times a day but also love a good nap and a cuddle. If we could nap together that would be ideal.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I’m a pretty chill little guy but I haven’t met any children yet. I think I could be fine with high school aged kids if they're patient with me as I adjust.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I am very curious about the resident cats and my kitten pals. I’d love a friend due to my playful nature and desire for companionship but I could be a solo kitty if you’re home quite a bit!
I’ve been exposed to my foster sister Celeste who’s an 18 month old mixed breed. I’m building up my confidence every day! I’d need a cat-savvy dog who can give me space if I need it.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
