Introducing Playful Nathen!

This youthful puppy is ready to learn and have a home to call his own!

HOUSEHOLD - A knowledgeable staffy breed owner would be perfect for Nathen.

Nathen has a joyful personality, always wanting to interact with everyone who crosses his path. He requires a home environment to experience routine and a commitment to help him grow into a settled, confident boy.

ON GOING TRAINING - Nathen is still quite jumpy and needs assistance to learn this is not a good behaviour. Nathen does know sit and in the process of learning to focus so he can master further commands.

ON LEASH - While on the leash, Nathen can walk quite well but can also be pulley and become anxious. Nathen will benefit from regular walks and opportunities to walk in different environments for confidence building.

PLAY/TOYS - He has shown some interest in playing with soft toys but is often distracted by his surroundings.

OTHER DOGS - Nathen is dog social but not experienced enough to understand their body language. He will need continued socialisation with other dog friends to allow him to learn boundaries and feel secure while in their presence. At this stage, he would be suited to an only dog household for this reason.

CATS/OTHER ANIMALS - Nathen did show a small interest in cats but once hissed at, he backed away, seeking guidance from his handler. It may be possible for Nathen to be housed with a feline resident after a period of slow and supervised introductions.

CARE/GROOMING - Due to his short staffy coat, it will be easy to maintain with weekly brushes and a bath when needed. Nathen enjoys all types of handling.

EXERCISE - Nathen does love being outdoors where he can sniff and explore. Continued activities like this in different environments would be so beneficial for Nathen. It is something he enjoys doing and at the same time is building his confidence and social skills. This combined with daily walks/runs, a yard to play in and lots of enrichment toys at home, will keep this gorgeous boy happy and content.

CAR RIDES - Nathen enjoys being in a car and is relaxed while travelling.

NUTRITION - Nathen loves his food and has no specific dietary requirements.

Nathen is located at our Erina Shelter and his reduced $50 adoption fee covers - microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments PLUS POST ADOPTION TRAINING SUPPORT
