Ellie

Ellie is one sweet and cuddly Beagle x Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Her big brown eyes and soft expression will melt your heart. This beautiful girl at 7yo is only just beginning to know how good life can be. Having been an outside dog at a breeding facility her entire life and not exposed to the world she has taken to inside on the couch like a duck to water! She loves to snuggle in to you and is all about Netflix and chill on the couch but be warned she falls asleep and snores! Ellie loves treats and is easily trainable and will thrive with continued training and socialisation in her new home.

Ellie is good with other dogs, she happily exists with them in her foster home but doesn’t want to play. Big boisterous dogs can be a bit too overwhelming for her. She hasn’t been tested with cats but seeing how sweet she is, it is possible she could live with them if appropriately introduced.

Ellie is making up for lost time and enjoys plenty of human company. She does protest when you leave her but usually settles quite quickly. An adult home or one with older children would be best for Ellie.

Ellie is low-moderately active and loves a good sniff. She is starting to play with toys and loves finding a sock lying around. Ellie is about Cavalier King Charles Spaniel size (8-9kg) and has traits of both her breeds. She can be quite the talker! Ellie is doing well with toilet training in a short amount of time but this will need to be continued in her new home.
