Playful girl!
- Little Susie is a delightful ball of orange fluff!
- She can be quite timid and shy and may require a bit of patience in the first weeks. Once Susie knows the hand that feeds her, she becomes affectionate, getting comfy on a lap when the opportunity arises.
- Born to be a hunter, her favourite thing to do is to play with her stuffed mouse, feathers, laser and go cat da bird string toy. She's always keen to play!
- She can be a talker, especially at food time. She does those quiet meows that melts your heart when she is given pats. Sometimes will drool and make biscuits if she's really enjoying it.
- Suz has her safe space that she retreats to often - a cosy cat bed somewhat enclosed where she can keep a good eye on you. She is good to sleep with and will stay on the bed all night but can be startled by movement.
- Susie is untested with children and other animals. She would be best suited to a quiet household.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
5 GREAT REASONS TO ADOPT FROM SAFE BUSSELTON:

- Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, desex and microchip and microchip ownership transfer;
- Foster care instead of cage confinement, so I get love and socialisation;
- Speak directly with my foster carer;
- Quick response to your enquiry.
