Introducing the magnificent Kirsch, a gentle giant with a very goofy side!

Kirsch joined SODR heavily pregnant and gave birth to a huge litter of 13 gorgeous babies!

She was an incredible mumma to her puppies and is now ready to find her furever home where she can be a goofy puppy herself.

Kirsch is toilet trained and confident in using the doggy door to take herself to the toilet. She will proudly sit, shake and stay when asked.

Kirsch sleeps soundly through the night on her bed next to yours or in a crate with the door open, but will always ask to come to bed with you first.

Kirsch absolutely loves her toys! She loves playing tug of war, hunting for the squeakers in her teddies and galloping around the garden with paws in all directions. Kirsch loves the idea of playing fetch but not so much the returning of the item!

Her new home will need to have lots of doggy toys and enrichment activities to keep this beautiful goofball entertained.

Kirsch has been living in a foster home with 3 other dogs and is very friendly with other friendly doggies both big and small. Although she can get very excitable and want to play with everyone so may need a gentle reminder of her manners from time to time.

Despite her size beautiful Kirsch is convinced she is a lapdog and does not quite understand why she doesn’t seem to fit on her foster mum’s lap like the smaller dogs do.

Kirsch is a real people lover and just wants to be wherever her people are. She does have a tendency to go looking for her humans when they are not home so secure high fencing is a must.

Kirsch’s ideal home would be with someone committed to continuing her training and socialisation, a family who is home more often than not (she misses you), a big yard to play in, lots of toys and a playful doggy BFF! 🐾
