- Has some specific needs as she is a nervous girl with strangers, but Every day she is getting better! She has come so far and just needs time with new people. please read on ⬇️
Dottie loves being out in nature and going for big walks, and then coming home and cuddling up with her people. She is a very special dog in so many ways!
Our little girl may be adorable and small but she needs someone who can lend her a helping hand. Dottie displays nervousness in some situations and is easily startled so she needs calm humans around her who will shower her with love and attention. Please keep this in mind when you apply!
Dottie loves frisbee and fetch and being a Heeler mix she is an active little girl! So active home with multiple walks a dog for this girl!
Dottie was very shy with dogs when she first arrived, but she is getting very confident now. She loves to play and chase bigger dogs. She can feel overwhelmed by some dogs though if they are too much so it’s important to keep up her socialising and go easy with her 💕
Cat friendly girl but cats who are nice to her please as she can be scared by them if they’re mean to her 🥺
Good on lead! And she is responsive to her owner and is now way more confident around strangers and other dogs when out and about.
Dottie can jump HIGH! She is a little girl with a big spring in her step! Thankfully she can be left inside when you need to leave the home with her toys after a walk to tire her out. So someone who is willing to have her inside when they leave her alone is a must!
Our ideal home for Dottie is a quiet home with not too many new people coming in and out. This is because Dottie can be anxious at times, and these behaviours seem to show up mostly in houses, when it’s dark and she doesn’t know who is about to walk through a doorway or comes into a room. Sharehouses are a bit scary for her and loud family environments, a couple without kids or someone who can keep her feeling safe and warm while at home 💕🥺
Dottie will respond amazingly to being with another dog!
Dottie is simply adorable and will continue to thrive with people who can take it slow with her and give her all the cuddles she could ask for 💕
