Meet the little pocket-rocket... Charlie!

Charlie is an affectionate Jack Russell who's ready to embrace a bright future with a family who will love and cherish him. After having a rough start to life, Charlie is making incredible progress with the help of his devoted foster carer and a fantastic behaviour trainer. Now, he's eagerly searching for a foster-to-adopt home where he can continue building trust and forming lasting bonds.

Charlie thrives in a calm and understanding environment with family members who are 16 or older. He'd be delighted to share his space with a well-mannered small dog like himself, though he's yet to meet a cat. His new family should be committed to using reward-based training, helping Charlie feel safe and confident as he learns and grows. You'll have ongoing support from Charlie's behaviour trainer to guide you through confidence-building exercises and establishing a routine.

"Hi there, I'm Charlie. I'm looking for a kind, quiet household where I can slowly come out of my shell and show you just how much love I have to give. My foster carer has been so patient and supportive, and I'm making great strides thanks to their training and encouragement. I adore treats and praises, and I'm eager to keep learning with your help.

I have a blast playing with my tennis balls, and I even have a soccer ball that's almost as big as me-but that doesn't stop me from carrying it around the house! I could play catch all day. I love going for walks and exploring my neighbourhood. My favorite thing is following my foster mum around the house, inside and out, and cuddling on the couch at night. I also love sleeping under the doona on her bed-it makes me feel safe and cozy.

I have some anxiety because of my past, but my medication is helping, and I'm improving every day. I'm still working on mastering my toilet training, but I'm getting better each week.
