About Oscar
Meet Oscar, a charming three and a half year old Cavalier who will make your heart melt. Debonair yet playful, Oscar has mastered the balance between adventure and relaxation. Despite missing one ear from an incident as a young pup, this handsome chap's spirit shines bright, bringing joy and laughter to everyone he befriends.
Oscar has a happy, outgoing temperament. He loves to play with other dogs of his own size or smaller, exuding a friendly and playful demeanor with a dash of canine curiosity. An experienced leash walker, he’s perfectly happy to trot alongside you on early morning walks or venture out for an afternoon stroll.
Oscar exhibits an array of interests that will make your everyday encounters interesting and fun. He may show an interest in chasing cats out of playfulness, but rest assured, he hasn't shown a streak of aggression.
Fond of treats and generous with his affection, Oscar is one to wears his heart on his sleeve. He finds joy in simple pleasures, whether that’s getting a pat from someone he loves, jumping up for some attention, or just soaking up the sunshine in the backyard.
Oscar is looking for a loving new family who will embrace his zest for life and his endearing quirks. Oscar is missing an ear which is a result of an incident that happened as a puppy.
Oscar had an incisor and pre-molar removed under GA. He otherwise passed his vet check
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
